Job Duties:

• Set up and operate woodworking machines such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders to cut, shape, and finish wood components.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Set up and operate gluing machines to fix pieces of wood together according to specifications.
• Operate special pre-set woodworking machines to make things like coat hangers, nightstands, and other items.
• Ensure machines are set up correctly and operate efficiently.
• Follow instructions and read and interpret drawings and work orders to understand project specifications.
