JobSpider.com is a free employment information exchange modeled after the community-focused logic of Craigslist. My name is Chris McGarry; I built this site because I was frustrated by the lack of intuitive, nicely organized, and truly free job boards while searching for a network administrator. What started as a "small project" has grown into a high-traffic destination that provides a streamlined alternative to the "big boys" (i.e., Monster, Indeed, etc.).
Q: What is your pricing information? How much does it cost?

JobSpider.com is completely free for both employers and job seekers. There is no charge to post resumes, list jobs, search our database, or set up automated job alerts.
Q: How can JobSpider.com be free?
A:
We generate revenue primarily through on-site advertising. This allows us to keep the core experience free for everyone. The only exception is a small service fee for employers who require automated API integrations or XML bulk imports.
Q: How do I post a job or resume?
A:
It’s easy! Select the appropriate action from the sidebar menu and log in. If you haven't registered yet, you can create a free account in seconds. Once logged in, our step-by-step submission process will guide you through the rest.
Q: Where do you get your resumes?
A:
Every resume on JobSpider.com is entered directly by active job seekers visiting our site. Unlike some other platforms, we do not simply buy or copy old resume data from around the web; our database is built from the ground up by our users.
Q: I lost my login and/or password; how can I get it back?

We currently filter out approximately 98% of automated spam sent through our system and are constantly updating our security. However, as it is a public-facing exchange, some junk mail may occasionally slip through. We recommend using a dedicated email for your search and ignoring any suspicious inquiries.
Q: What are the technical requirements for using JobSpider.com?
A:
JobSpider is optimized for all modern web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. To manage your postings, you must have Cookies and JavaScript enabled. The site is fully responsive and best viewed on any modern desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
Q: Will you post my job/resume if I email it to you?

To maintain database integrity, we ask that you use our self-service posting tools. The only exception is for high-volume employers using our automated bulk import services.
Q: I currently use an ATS (Applicant Tracking System); can I post to JobSpider through it?

Yes. We integrate with most major Applicant Tracking Systems and multi-posters. If JobSpider isn't currently listed in your software, contact your ATS provider and ask them to add us to your feed.

Yes. Listings on JobSpider.com are regularly indexed by major job search engines, specialized aggregators, and all primary web search engines like Google and Bing.
Q: How do I modify or delete my job or resume?
A:
Log in and click on the "My Spider" link at the top left. This is your personal dashboard where you can see all your active listings and select "Modify" or "Delete" for any record.
