Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Work setting: Various locations, Construction, Residential

Tasks:
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware; Supervise other workers
