Job Description:
GTA Windows & Doors Ltd. is currently seeking a Window Installations Supervisor.
Our location is at 218 Bridlecreek Green SW, Calgary, AB T2Y 3N9.
This position is full-time, permanent, and starts as soon as possible.
The hourly wage is CAD 40.00 with 40 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On-site:
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment:
Outdoors, Noisy, At heights, Dusty
Work setting:
Construction, Installation, Residential, Repair, Various locations
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation crews and monitor project progress.
- Coordinate and schedule activities according to the jobs
- Train workers on proper window installation and safety procedures
- Set up machines and equipment
- Bend and install aluminum cladding, apply caulking and spray foaming
- Estimate required materials and project costs for each installation
- Ensure health and safety rules are followed on site
- Requisition or order the windows, tools, and supplies needed for jobs
- Lead the crews and give clear instructions on site
Supervision:
- 1 to 2 people
- 3-4 people
- Window installers
