Job Duties:
Under the supervision of the team leader, the winder manually winds various electromechanical equipment, including alternating current and direct current motors.
• Wind, assemble and install various types of coils.
• Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
• Read and interpret diagrams.
• Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
• Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors.
• Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components.
• Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
• Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.

Skills Required:
• Practical knowledge in their field of activity.
• Good knowledge of alternating current and direct current motors, as well as basic electrical principles.
• Regular use of manual tools requiring coordination and concentration.

Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of experience (coil winding, form coli winding, AC/DC motor rewinding).

Education Required:
• Completion of secondary school and training courses or a vocational program.
