Job Summary:
1419620 BC LTD is currently seeking an experienced Wholesale establishment manager to join our team in Surrey, BC. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our produce department, manage inventory and staff, and ensure the highest standards of freshness, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments
• Maintain inventory and ensure timely ordering of fresh produce
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory accordingly
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to assess product demand, forecast potential sales volumes, and evaluate the competitive landscape's impact on business performance.
• Make strategic decisions regarding the selection of merchandise and services for sale and develop and implement pricing and credit policies in line with company objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors as needed to procure quality merchandise for resale, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
