Primary Responsibilities:
REQUIRED SKILL SET:
• Manage the daily operations of the wholesale division dealing in ethnic sweets and savory snacks, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Oversee staff in purchasing, packaging, warehousing, and distribution.
• Analyze demand patterns and customer preferences to adjust inventory levels and product offerings accordingly.
• Command and source ingredients and finished products from suppliers while managing pricing, quality control, and delivery schedules.
• Manage and monitor stock levels and ensure timely restocking of high-demand items while minimizing waste of perishable goods.
• Foster strong partnerships with buyers, distributors, and supply chain partners to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, sales, and financial performance to support planning and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, especially those related to food safety and workplace hygiene.
• Handle contract negotiations and set pricing strategies in line with business objectives and market trends.
• Lead the recruitment and training of team members, ensuring staff are equipped with the skills needed to meet organizational goals.
