Westmount Dental Lab is hiring a F/T Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant. Job

Position Info:
• Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $36.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 4340 97 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5R9

Job Duties:
• Prepare and pour dental impressions to create accurate plaster models and moulds for prosthetic fabrication
• Apply and shape wax over denture setups to refine structure and ensure proper alignment prior to final processing
• Assemble, adjust, and complete metal frameworks used in partial and full denture construction
• Polish, buff, and finish dentures to achieve proper fit, function, and aesthetic quality
• Process and pack acrylic or plastic materials into moulds to fabricate full and partial dentures
• Fabricate orthodontic bands and components using various dental metals and alloys
• Construct wax bite blocks and custom impression trays to support dental prosthetic procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary dental laboratory materials and office supplies to maintain efficient operations

Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
