Western Valley Inn is hiring a F/T Night Supervisor. Job

Position Info:
• Position: Night Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $24.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 5402 Highway Street, Valleyview, AB T0H 3N0

Job Duties:
• Coordinate night-shift operations with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth hotel service
• Establish night-shift work schedules and procedures for check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest service requests
• Resolve guest complaints, staff issues and operational problems during the night shift, and recommend ways to improve service quality and efficiency
• Train night-shift staff in job duties, guest service standards, safety procedures and company policies
• Prepare and submit nightly reports, including occupancy, reservations, payments, incidents and maintenance issues
• Assist guests with special needs, late arrivals, emergencies and other overnight service requests
• Supervise, assign and review the work of night-shift front desk, housekeeping and support staff
• Monitor reservation systems, office equipment and hotel facilities, and arrange repairs or report issues to maintain continuous guest service

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality service is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
