Well Test Operator - Senior 2 Job

JOB DUTIES:
Operate well-test equipment to increase oil flow from producing wells and work in a safe, responsible and cost-effective manner, in full compliance with the company's safety and quality management systems both onshore and offshore. Prepare well-test equipment as per design requirements by testing, repairing, and modifying equipment as necessary. Ensure documentation is in order and the equipment meets Expro requirements as defined in the quality management system. liaise with clients to establish correct interfaces, requirements and present a professional image. Ensure equipment used during a Well Test has been rigged up and operated as per job design. Regulatory, Client and Expro Well Test Standards must be met. Ensure all data collected is accurate and compliant to industry and company requirements. Gather and record data and operate equipment as agreed upon with client Well Test program/procedure, which include but are not limited to Exploration / Production / In line Well Testing, Clean Ups, Stimulation Recovery, Clean Out, and Flow Back to Customer and Company standards of excellence. Communication with wide range of internal and external clients to perform and support operations in the NAM Region and Worldwide. Queries and problems can be dealt with and resolved with due regard to the integrity and function of the equipment. Ensure a safe and healthy environment at the worksite through the effective application of the Company's QHSE systems. Provides some task supervision over junior crew and to ensure that all personnel engaged in the task have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the tasks to be performed. Acts as shift focal point at the worksite between all crew members, subcontracting personnel and the client representative in the absence of the supervisor. Performs cleaning, operational testing and pressure testing of equipment during the pre-job procedures. Prepares and packs ancillary equipment to be used for the job. Performs pre/post Job equipment inspections. Performs and completes ongoing and preventative maintenance procedures for the equipment on location. Assembles and prepares equipment for installation and service. Supports the Supervisor in ensuring safe completion of tasks and in the cleanup and preparation for the next job. Ensures completion of all required documentation relating to equipment and personnel in the course of the operations performed. Supports the Supervisor to ensure the customer is satisfied with the service provided including the accuracy of all data and reports provided. Assists in training junior operators under direction of supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus four (4) years of professional experience as Well Test Operator - Senior 2 or four (4) years of experience with oil and gas well test, subsea, and production.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The four (4) years of experience must have included offshore field experience in surface well testing; subsea control systems; well test operations; well test surface test equipment and surface sampling. Experience must also include DST equipment wireline / E-Line; High Pressure & High Temperature wells and ISO 9001 & API Q2 industry standards.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% travel required to the offshore Gulf of Mexico.
