Greco Aluminum Railings Ltd. has an immediate opening for 5 Welders (NOC: 72106) at our location in Windsor, Ontario.

As a Welder (NOC: 72106) you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and produce rough sketches (abbreviations, symbols for welding/assembly, tolerances) and civil drawings;
• Perform welding and fitting tasks according to blueprints and specifications
• Operate job-related welding equipment (cut off saw, ironworker, hydraulic presses, shears, drill presses, torches, oxygen lances, pneumatic/power actuated tools, & plasma cutters);
• Fabricate and weld both small and large fabrications;
• Inspect raw materials and finished product to meet specifications;
• Perform welding and fitting tasks according to blueprints and specifications
• Work independently or in a team environment;
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment as well as brazing and soldering equipment
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Repair worn-out sections of metal through welding

Qualifications:
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in welding or some college or industry courses in welding is required
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;
• Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.
• Proven experience as a welder or welder-fitter in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy welding industry

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40-44 hours/week)
Compensation $23.00 /hour
