Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a 3-year training program or a course related to welding is an asset.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Well-organized and a team player.
Responsibilities:
• Perform welding and fabrication of metal brackets, frames, mounts, and other custom components required for home automation and audiovisual installations.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work specifications to fabricate and repair metal components.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding and cutting equipment to complete fabrication and repair work.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet company quality standards and project specifications.
• Repair or modify metal parts and structural supports as required for installation projects.
