• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques on steel, aluminum, and other metals.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and automotive components.
• Inspect welds and ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Collaborate with technicians and mechanics on custom builds and repairs.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Education:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a welding apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training is preferred.
Certification in welding (e.g., Red Seal, CWB) is an asset.
• Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant welding experience, preferably in an automotive or fabrication setting.

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Basic math and measurement skills
