Welder Job

Blackstar Truck & Trailer Repairs Ltd. is hiring one welder for their business located at 210-12451 82 Ave, Surrey BC, V3W 3E8. This is a full time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Welder, you would be performing the following job duties:

- Repair vehicle components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces of vehicles to discover flaws.
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Follow safety procedures during work.
- Weld components in flat, vertical and horizontal positions.
- Ensure clean weld joint to obtain smooth look.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Operate brazing and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary education is required.
- 3 to 5 years of work experience is required.
- Basic English as a language skill is required.

What we offer:
- $37.00 per hour.
- 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position.
