Job Duties:

• Conducting welding repairs on trucks and other vehicles as Truck Mechanics require.
• Understand specifications and ideas suggested and given by the Truck Mechanics.
• Examining truck parts for defects and determining the appropriate welding techniques for repair.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping.
• Use various welding techniques to have the best results.
• Use various manual, semi-automatic, and automatic tools to carry out the welding work.
• Ensuring that welding equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
• Working collaboratively with other team members, including mechanics and technicians, to facilitate efficient truck repairs.
• Staying updated on the latest welding technologies and techniques relevant to truck and trailer repair.

• Completion of High School would be an asset but not mandatory.
• 1+ years of experience in the trade would be preferred but not mandatory.
• An apprenticeship program or certification of industry courses in trade would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Good at Multitasking.
