Welder Supervisor Job

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily welding activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of welders, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure welding work aligns with project requirements.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Inspect welds for quality and ensure the proper use of welding equipment.
Assist in the development of welding procedures and ensure their effective implementation.
Maintain records of work progress, materials used, and personnel involved.
Troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues or challenges that arise on-site.
Provide technical guidance and support to welding staff as required.
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in proper working order.

2 years of experience in related field
Completion of high school is required.
Welding certification is an asset.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
