Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment as needed.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment
• Maintain records as needed
• Repair and maintain worn parts of metal equipment as needed
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and wielding techniques.
