Job Duties
• Understand and follow welding symbols, diagrams, and visual process specifications
•Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment for various welding processes, including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)
• Use flame-cutting equipment and metal shaping machines such as brakes and shears to manipulate and prepare metal components
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal as needed to achieve precise configurations
• Operating brazing and soldering machines for bonding and filling metal seams, holes, and indentations
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
• Repair and reinforce worn metal parts by applying additional layers through welding

Job Requirements:
· Secondary school education is required
· Experience an asset
