Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for welding a variety of Vidir Products within a team environment according to the production schedule.
2. Ensure that the products are welded to meet the company’s high standard of quality.
3. Read and follow directions in layouts, blue prints and work orders.
4. Ensure that products are compliant in Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Standards and regulations.
5. Monitor and ensure parts inventory availability at all times in respective work area to meet production requirements.
6. Identify and communicate safety concerns with team lead.
7. Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement and safety to team lead to provide safer operations, higher quality, lower cost and waste reduction.
8. Coordinate with other team members to provide steady flow of product.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned by team lead.

Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm; Working hours may vary depending on production, 2 days off on weekends

Wage/Benefits: $28.00/hour; 15 paid vacation days per year; Medical, Dental, Long-Term Disability, AD&D, Life Insurance and RRSP/DPSP

Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school is required; CWB Certification is required.
2. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience is required; Experience in MIG welding is preferred
3. Class 5 Driver’s License is required
4. Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs
6. Outstanding attention to detail
