Welder Helper Job

Atlas Railing & Awning Inc. is looking for two Welder Helper for their business located at Unit 8 12331 84 Ave Surrey, BC V3W 3G8. This position is full time/permanent with 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

As a Welder Helper, you would be performing the following job duties:
-Read and interpret blueprints for railing welding project.
-Clean metal pieces using chemicals to remove impurities such as slag, rust and grease.
-Assist welders in performing welding, brazing and cutting operations.
-Clean work areas and equipment.
-Follow the safety protocols and wear appropriate protective clothing such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
-Load and unload vehicles using manual means or handtrucks.
-Return all tools and equipment back to the shop after the job is completed.
-Ensuring welders have required material and tools available such as rods and grinding discs etc.

Requirements:
-No specific education and experience required
-On the job training will be provided.
-No language requirements

What we offer:

-$26.00 per hour
-4% vacation pay
-Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position.
