Job Description:
Choice Railing Ltd. is looking for two Welder Helper for their business located at 5569 Glenmore Road, Abbotsford BC, V4X 1W1. This position is full time permanent with 8 hours a day, and 40 hours per week. We welcome part-timers as well.
As a Welder Helper, you would be performing the following job duties:
-Clean metal pieces using chemicals to remove impurities such as slag, rust and grease.
-Assist welders in performing welding, brazing and cutting operations.
-Clean work areas and equipment.
-Follow the safety protocols and wear appropriate protective clothing such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
-Load and unload vehicles using manual means or handtrucks.
-Return all tools and equipment back to the shop after the job is completed.
-Ensuring welders have required material and tools available such as rods and grinding discs etc.

-On the job training will be provided.
-No language requirement
