NOW HIRING: WELDER-FITTERS
Terms of employment:
Permanent employment/Full time (between 32 and 44 hours per week
Daytime hours with some overtime, Monday to Friday
Requirements of the job
- trade certificate or diploma OR
at least 3 years of experience as a welder
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience with custom stainless steel fabrication is a must
- Own tools and equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, Mask, - - Face shield, Welding helmet
- Able to handle loads of up to 50 lbs.

Duties of the job
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
- Determine weldability of materials
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
