Job Description:
Trust Steel Inc. is looking for full time Welder-fitter at 280 Shoemaker St,. Kitchener, ON N2E 3E1, Canada. There are 4 positions available.
Main duties are as follows but not limited to:
-Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
-Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), fluxcored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)
-Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
-Operate brazing and soldering equipment
-Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
-Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.

Job Requirements:
Hours of work are an average of 30 hours per week Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is $56,500 annually. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed secondary school. Minimum work experience is 3 years hands on experience.
