Salary: $26.00 hourly / 40.00 hours per week

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Dusty / Hot /Noisy
Work setting: Heavy machinery manufacturing; Industrial facility or establishment
Responsibilities
Tasks
• Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products
• Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment
• Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually
• Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
• Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
• Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Load and unload vehicle
• Polish metal products to mirror finish
• Read and interpret work orders
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience: Deburrer; Dolly; Hand truck; Lifting device; Shotblaster
Area of specialization: Welding
