Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our one of the clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency in using various power tools and equipment.
Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using welding techniques.
Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, or stick welders to join metal parts securely.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Assist in rigging operations as needed for moving heavy materials or components.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
Proven experience in welding and fabrication techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
Experience using calipers and other measuring tools for precise fabrication work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
