**Job Title:** Welder (NOC 72106 – TEER 2)

### Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Interpret welding process specifications and work orders.
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
* Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automated welding equipment to weld metal components.
* Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding, as required.
* Fabricate, repair, and modify truck and trailer frames, bodies, structural components, and other metal products.
* Operate flame-cutting, plasma-cutting, and oxygen arc cutting equipment.
* Use brakes, shears, grinders, and other metal-forming equipment.
* Determine the weldability of materials and select appropriate welding techniques.
* Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with company quality standards and applicable codes.
* Perform brazing and soldering when required.
* Maintain welding equipment and perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
* Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Work collaboratively with mechanics and other shop personnel to complete repair projects efficiently.
### Employment Requirements
* Completion of secondary school.
* Minimum of one (1) year to less than two (2) years of welding experience.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
* Knowledge of welding processes, metal fabrication, and cutting equipment.
* Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* English language proficiency.
