Welder Job

This is a full-time on-site role located in Creston, BC. As a Welder at King Creek Enterprises Ltd., you will be responsible for performing various types of welding, fabricating and repairing metal structures, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards. Daily tasks include operating and maintaining welding equipment, inspecting materials for quality assurance, and collaborating with the team to achieve project goals while adhering to timelines and safety protocols. A large part of the job includes repairs & maintanence of our construction equipment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Arc Welding and general Welding techniques
Experience with Arc and MIG Welding
Knowledge of various materials and their properties as they relate to welding and fabrication
Attention to detail and a strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
Adherence to workplace safety standards and procedures
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in a similar welding role is an asset
A journeyman or welding certification is preferred
An ability to analyze equipment problems and perform the required repairs
