Tasks
1. Interpret welding process specifications
2. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
3. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
4. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
5. Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
6. Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal
7. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
