Job Description:
Choice Railing Ltd. is looking for a Welder for their business located at 5569 Glenmore Road, Abbotsford BC, V4X 1W1. This is a full time permanent position with 8 hours a day, and 40 hours per week.
As a Welder, you will be performing the following job duties:
- Repair railing components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to verify the error.
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan product specifications.
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Weld components in all shapes.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Operate machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Number of positions: 1
Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- 3 to 4 years of experience is required.
- English as a language skill is required.
What we offer:
- $38.00 per hour.
- 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
