Job Description:
-Perform structural welding of steel trailer frames, chassis, and components according to blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
-Read and interpret fabrication drawings, measurements, and technical specifications to assemble trailer structures accurately.
-Operate welding equipment to weld metal parts and components accurately.
-Fit, align, and secure trailer parts using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools prior to welding.
-Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality and structural standards.
-Repair or reinforce trailer frames and metal components as required during production.
-Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance issues as needed.
-Follow workplace safety procedures and work with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines.

Job Requirements:
-Secondary school completion preferred.
-Minimum 2 to 3 years of welding or metal fabrication experience, or completion of a welding apprenticeship or recognized training program, is required.
-Basic knowledge of MIG welding, structural welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes is required.
-Welding certification, CWB certification, and experience operating welding tools and related equipment are assets.
-On-the-job training provided to enhance skills and ensure compliance with company and safety standards.
-Physically able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials as needed.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
-Flexible availability, including overtime or occasional weekends if needed.
