Duties
Officiate wedding ceremonies in accordance with legal requirements and personal preferences of the couple
Collaborate with clients to customize ceremony scripts that reflect their values and beliefs
Provide guidance on wedding planning logistics and coordinate with other vendors as needed
Offer spiritual or emotional support to couples during pre-wedding consultations and rehearsals
Deliver engaging speeches or readings that resonate with the couple's vision
Assist in crisis intervention or conflict management if unforeseen issues arise during ceremonies
Maintain professionalism and uphold the integrity of the officiant role at all times
Support bereavement or hospice care initiatives by offering compassionate presence when appropriate
Mentor new officiants or volunteers interested in serving in similar capacities
Skills
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences effectively
Strong communication skills for clear, empathetic interactions with clients and team members
Writing skills for creating personalized ceremony scripts and messages
Event planning experience to coordinate logistics smoothly on the day of the ceremony
