1. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication to all 4 senses making the customer get involved in the purchasing process
2. Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements • Use Adobe Illustrator to create precise sketches for custom jewelry designs (e.g., signet rings) tailored for CAD modeling. • Note: Best suited for candidates with jewelry work experience or a jewelry education background.
3. Copywrite
4. Process files and paperwork and records of the appraisals, and grades of all the stones and metals • Maintain and organize records of appraisals, gemstones, and metals.
5. Develop the graphic elements that meet the client's objectives and expectations, and the market trends • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs align with branding and customer experience goals.
6. Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers to maximize the effectiveness of the objects
7. Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
8. Usability testing
9. Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations of jewelry on our website
• Take and edit high-quality jewelry photographs to maintain website standards and aesthetics.
10. Adapt existing illustrations on the main page
11. Work in a multidisciplinary environment and have knowledge of diamonds and gemstones, metals and such
12. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
• Design boutique print materials such as warranties and product information cards.
• Note: Familiarity with jewelry industry standards is required.
