Web Developer (NOC 21234) Job

Web Development & Programming
· Build, adjust, and integrate website code and web application modules using appropriate programming languages.
· Perform testing on new and existing features to assess usability, security, and performance.
· Implement updates, revisions, and improvements to ensure websites function efficiently.
· Maintain web applications by monitoring system behavior and addressing technical issues promptly.
Quality Assurance & Optimization
· Analyze test results and user feedback to identify areas requiring technical enhancements.
· Support ongoing website updates by following established development standards and change procedures.
· Ensure web interfaces and system components align with functional and design requirements.
Technical Collaboration & Research
· Participate in discussions related to website structure, layout, and feature development.
· Work with designers, content teams, or clients when implementing system enhancements.
Conduct research on programming tools and interactive media technologies to recommend practical improvements.

Employment Requirements
· Completion of a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, web development, programming, or a related field.
· Previous hands-on experience in software testing, system evaluation, or programming.
· Ability to write, review, and debug code.
· Understanding of website structure, development principles, and performance optimization.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with front-end or back-end development tools is considered an asset but not mandatory.
