Position: Web Developer
Wage: C$39 per hour
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Vacation Pay: 4% vacation pay of each gross payroll
Term of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Job Duties:
• Create new code, write code for specific functionalities, and make modifications to existing code as needed for websites and web applications.
• Combine diverse components or systems to ensure seamless web application functionality.
• Conduct rigorous testing to verify functionality, performance, and compatibility of websites and web applications.
• Monitor security through data analysis to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in web applications.
• Examine collected data to monitor and enhance user interface experiences, ensuring a user-friendly and effective design.
• Identify potential areas where enhancements could be made to optimize website performance, user experiences, and address issues discovered through testing.
• Establish and carry out procedures to keep the website up-to-date and relevant over time, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance.
• Regularly check and observe the website's performance, features, and overall functionality to identify any issues or deviations.
• Address and resolve issues detected during monitoring, ensuring that the website continues to operate smoothly and meets user expectations.
• Contribute to structure and organization of the website, including considerations for navigation, layout, and overall design strategy.
• Work with designers to combine technical expertise with design principles for a cohesive and effective website.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, web development, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 1 – 2 years of prior experience in a related field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to create websites that are responsive and work well on various devices and screen sizes
• Knowledge of techniques to optimize website performance, including page load times and overall user experience
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and demonstrating practical skills
