Job Title: Interior Designer
Location: 1662 W 75th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6P 6G2
Number of Vacancies: 1
Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Wage: 30.00 per hour
Vacation: 4f gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation

Job responsibilities:
 Create plans, elevations, cross-sections, and specific drawings as well as make recommendations on the selection of colours, surfaces, and materials, floor and wall coverings, window treatment, internal and external lighting, furniture, and other elements, considering appropriate, health and safety standards,
 Consult and determine the client’s goals and their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and uses of the spaces.
 Input designs and details into CAD software, and prepare 3D drawing presentation
 Evaluate the required costs and materials,
 Create a timeline for the interior design project,
 Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of the design elements,
 Arrange plans and blueprints for the final internal design according to current practices and regulations
 Correspond with project managers on all items needed, and ensure that final interior designs with building regulations and safety codes
 Support other designers and build an effective teamwork

Qualifications and skills required:
- At least 2 years of experience in interior designing
- Completion of Secondary School
- College & Diploma in the related field is a strong asset
- Fluent in English
