Job Description:

Seek a WCAG consultant with prior experience to analyse existing data and conducting additional studies to assess current accessibility standards and needs of public agencies.

Review State & City programs to identify areas where ADA compliance could be improved and suggesting actionable changes.

Job Requirements:

echnical Knowledge
Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines (Level A, AA; sometimes AAA).

Familiarity with Section 508, ADA Title II, and EN 301 549 standards (especially in government/public sectors).

Hands-on experience testing with:

Screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)

Keyboard navigation

Color contrast checkers, HTML validators, and browser-based accessibility tools

Knowledge of ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes and semantic HTML5.
