WATERPROOFING FOREMAN/WOMAN (Waterproofing/Drainlayer Foreman/Woman)

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee and perform drainlayer/waterproofing projects including installation, repair, and maintenance
• Supervise and coordinate activities of drainlayer/waterproofing workers and helpers
• Manage projects and ensure quality and timely completion of projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ensure job sites are properly maintained and report issues to the management
• Monitor inventory and maintain adequate resources and equipment
• Resolve work-related problems and recommend measures to improve productivity at the work site
• Train new workers and report on their progress

SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• 2+ years of work experience
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience
• Proficient in residential and commercial waterproofing/drain/drainpipe installation, repair, and replacement
• Physically able to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Familiar with health and safety procedures
• Ability to lead and instruct new workers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver’s licence

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Early morning, morning, day, evening, weekend, on call
• Work site environment: outdoors, confined spaces, dusty, underground
• Own steel-toed safety boots

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Wage $40.00 (CAD) per hour
