Job Description:
Seeking a Warranty Analysis Engineer with 5–10 years of automotive experience in HVAC, engine, powertrain, or mechanical systems. Responsible for warranty failure analysis, component teardown, root cause investigation, diagnostics, and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform warranty failure and teardown analysis.
Investigate HVAC and engine system failures.
Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
Support component disposition, containment, and corrective actions.
Analyze warranty trends and prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Engineering teams.
Interpret CAD drawings, GD&T, engineering specifications, and test reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering.
5–10 years of automotive warranty, quality, product, or failure analysis experience.
Strong HVAC, Engine, and Powertrain knowledge.
Experience with teardown analysis, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
