Warehouse Supervisor Job

At this time, we are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and assist the company in bringing its operational processes to new heights.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead daily warehouse operations
• Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of warehouse personnel
• Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, establish work schedules and procedures, resolve work-related issues
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Co-ordinate activities with other departments and effectively manage the transferring of products to other facilities
• Track expenses related to fuel, storage, and truck maintenance
• Track and report status of job orders and distributions in order to proactively plan further distribution schedules and time estimation
• Prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Ensure priorities and deadlines are met and communicated with the rest of staff
• Manage inventory, including ensuring proper stock rotation, assisting in physical inventory counts as required, and conducting reconciliations
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised, as required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of secondary school
• At least 1 year of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, or similar role
• High proficiency in English
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION & CONDITIONS:

• Permanent, full-time position
• 30-hour work week
• $34.10 per hour with applicable overtime pay after 44 hours of work per week
• Work location: 3 Anderson Blvd. Uxbridge, Ontario L9P 0G5
