MAXIM FURNITURE IMPORTS INC. has an immediate opening of a Warehouse Supervisor (TEER 2: 12013) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario.

As a Warehouse Supervisor (TEER 2: 12013), you will perform some or all of the following duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff including shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory management
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain inventory records, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper stock rotation
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Train and mentor new employees and evaluate performance
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as required
• Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply
chain, production or manufacturing management and related is usually required or
• 2-3 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 37.00/hour
