Hourly Wage: $32.00-37.00
Hours per Week: 35 to 40

Duties and Responsibilities
-Supervise warehouse staff and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the efficient handling, storage, and movement of flooring materials, including palletized and oversized products.
-Maintain accurate and detailed records of all incoming and outgoing inventory using inventory control systems, and prepare regular operational and stock status reports for management review.
-Develop, implement, and enforce effective warehouse policies and procedures to ensure proper inventory control, organized storage layouts, and optimal use of warehouse space.
-Coordinate and communicate with warehouse personnel to plan and improve shipping, receiving, dispatching, and scheduling activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment and on-time deliveries.
-Monitor employee performance, productivity, and attendance, and provide structured feedback and recommendations to management for operational improvements and staff development.
-Enforce workplace health and safety policies related to heavy lifting, forklift operations, slips and falls, fire prevention, and safe handling of flooring products in compliance with WorkSafeBC requirements.
-Train, onboard, and mentor new warehouse team members on operational procedures, safety standards, inventory handling, and company policies.
-Conduct regular inventory counts, identify discrepancies or damages, and implement corrective measures to minimize loss, shrinkage, and product damage.
-Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to support inventory forecasting, stock replenishment, and continuous improvement of warehouse workflows.
Qualifications We Require
-A diploma or above in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, trade, or a related discipline.
-At least three years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment, preferably in building materials or flooring products.
-Demonstrated experience supervising warehouse staff and coordinating daily operations in a fast-paced distribution setting.
-Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to manage inventory data, prepare operational reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
-Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices, including safe handling of heavy materials and compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
-Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions, performance feedback, and operational guidance to warehouse personnel.
