Job Description:
JOB DUTIES
• Lead, oversee, and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff engaged in picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and staging food product orders to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks and containers; verify that all incoming and outgoing shipment quantities match purchase orders and are accurately logged into the warehouse system.
• Monitor the inspection of all incoming goods; establish procedures for documenting and photographing damaged goods, and authorize product rejections as necessary.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by planning and supervising regular cycle counts; manage stock rotation strategies (FIFO - First In, First Out) to ensure food safety and minimize product expiration.
• Establish work schedules, dispatch warehouse personnel, and assign specific daily duties to meet strict shipping deadlines.
• Oversee and ensure all digital and physical warehouse records are maintained accurately.
• Inspect and ensure that all warehouse equipment and machinery are operated safely, properly maintained, cleaned, and charged.
• Ensure all warehouse operations strictly adhere to company safety policies and food safety standards; resolve work-related issues and prepare progress or incident reports.
• Train new warehouse employees in job duties, safety procedures, equipment operation, and company policies.
QUALIFICATION
• Completion of a 2-year College Diploma or above
• 2+ years of related warehouse operational experience
