Job Duties
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for:
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse workers, including shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, and inventory control.
• Planning, organizing, and assigning daily workload to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitoring and improving warehouse processes to maximize efficiency and workflow.
• Training new and existing staff on warehouse procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Overseeing the inspection, handling, and storage of goods to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with regular stock counts.
• Preparing reports on inventory levels, staff performance, equipment needs, and production summaries.
• Coordinating shipments with carriers and logistics partners as needed.
• Identifying operational issues and implementing corrective actions.

Education Requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Additional relevant training or certifications (e.g., WHMIS, forklift certification) is considered an advantage.
Experience & Other Requirements
• Minimum 2 or more years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, including some supervisory or lead-hand duties is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks as needed.
• Proficiency with inventory systems, scanners, and basic computer applications is an asset.
