THE ROLE
We're hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager to take on a key leadership role in our growth. This is a warehouse operations and management position with specialized support duties in content/marketing and financial administration that are essential to the role:
• Warehouse Operations Management & Leadership: Receiving, inventory, packing, shipping, and warehouse staff supervision
• Content Strategy & Production: Social media, blog, video editing, campaign development, client engagement
• Operations & Finance: AP processing, invoicing, bookkeeping in our accounting software
You'll report directly to leadership and work across all areas of the business—no two days are the same.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations & Leadership
• Co-ordinate, assign, and review the daily work of warehouse staff engaged in receiving, inventory management, order packing, and shipping;
• Supervise and lead the warehouse team, including recruiting, training, scheduling, performance management, and team development;
• Establish work schedules, workflows, and standard operating procedures for warehouse operations;
• Develop and implement operational processes and efficiency improvements across receiving, storage, and order fulfilment;
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment;
• Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee stock control, cycle counts, and organization of the warehouse;
• Enforce workplace health, safety, and compliance standards, and resolve day-to-day operational problems;
• Requisition supplies and equipment, and arrange for maintenance of warehouse systems and equipment;
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics and key indicators to leadership.
Supporting Duties — Content & Marketing
• Create and edit video and social media content to support product marketing;
• Write product descriptions, blog posts, and email/marketing copy;
• Schedule social media content and engage with customers online;
• Support marketing campaigns in collaboration with leadership.
Supporting Duties — Finance & Administration
• Process accounts payable invoices and generate customer invoices;
• Maintain financial records in accounting software (Zoho Books) and support month-end close;
• Assist with general administrative tasks.

ABOUT YOU
Essential Qualifications:
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations (receiving, inventory, shipping, or similar)
• Demonstrated experience supervising, leading, or co-ordinating staff (or strong capability to lead a small team);
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to establish schedules, procedures, and workflows;
• Reliable and able to work independently while managing a team;
• Comfortable in a small-business environment, multi-tasking and shifting priorities;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, scheduling, and co-ordinating with staff, suppliers, and carriers.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets):
• Bilingualism (Portuguese, French, or other languages)
• Post-secondary courses or certification in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field;
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems;
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar) or AP/invoicing;
• Video editing and/or audio-visual production experience;
• Social media, content creation, or marketing writing experience;
• Experience managing or mentoring small teams;
• Client-facing experience.
