Job Description:
Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Communication
Prepare and disseminate purchasing reports to support decision-making in related meetings.
Facilitate weekly meetings with department heads and relevant team members to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.

Communicate regularly with all departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Report any damaged or malfunctioning machinery or equipment in the warehouse.

Provide inventory counts and status updates as requested.

Reports directly to the company owner.

Staff Management

Interview, hire, and onboard new staff

Supervise daily activities of the warehouse team, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.

Coordinate container unloading operations with general labourer.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage disposal (warehouse and office).

Ensure all goods are received, identified, and dispatched accurately, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Manage inventory and storage systems using a categorized system for improved efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions.

Coordinate with the warehouse team to document inventory movements and generate status reports.

Supervise proper storage, wrapping, and loading of all orders in accordance with the delivery schedule.

Ensure orders are prepared and ready for loading each morning.

Ensure all doors are secured and locked before leaving the premises.

Process Improvement & Coordination

Identify operational inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions or process adjustments as needed.

Suggest procurement of necessary materials and supplies (e.g., pallets, shrink wrap, cutters).

Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.

Education
Completed post-secondary education with a university degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.

MS OFfICE word and excel
Experience
Over 5 years of experience in warehouse operations
More than 5 years of experience in logistics
3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles

Forklift Certificate - license

Ability to work under pressure
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
