Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President to join our Risk Service Line, dedicated to our Insurance Practice. Reporting directly to the Head of Insurance Risk Advisory, this individual will serve as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor to C-suite executives across Property & Casualty (P&C), Life & Annuities (L&A), and Reinsurance carriers.
This role blends high-impact advisory delivery and solution architecture with tactical business development and Go-To-Market leadership. As an Individual Contributor with growth potential, you will shape enterprise risk strategies, drive regulatory compliance, and deploy AI-enabled risk solutions for major insurers across North America.
Responsibilities
1. Consulting Delivery & Advisory Leadership (70–80%)
• Advisory Execution: Lead complex consulting engagements focusing on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), regulatory compliance, data governance, and operational risk across P&C, Life & Annuities, and Reinsurance clients.
• Solution Architecture: Translate client risk and regulatory challenges into scalable, technology-enabled consulting solutions.
• Team Oversight: Guide and mentor delivery teams (AVPs, Senior Managers, and project consultants) during client engagements to ensure elite execution.
2. Go-To-Market & Business Development (20–30%)
• Client Engagement: Build and expand relationships with C-suite stakeholders (Chief Risk Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, Chief Actuaries, and CDOs) across prospective and existing insurance accounts.
• Commercial Growth: Support pipeline generation, proposal development (RFPs), and account expansion by positioning Genpact’s integrated risk, data, and analytics capabilities.
• Thought Leadership: Partner with practice leaders to develop market-facing POVs, solution showcases, and risk advisory frameworks tailored to the evolving insurance landscape.
3. Insurance Domain & Regulatory Expertise
• Framework Mastery: Bring deep domain expertise in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), model governance, third-party risk, and capital adequacy frameworks relevant to North American insurers.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain a strong working knowledge of insurance regulatory standards and reporting guidelines (e.g., NAIC mandates, ORSA, Solvency frameworks, and state insurance regulations).
• Data Governance: Advise clients on data governance, model risk management, and regulatory reporting architectures.
4. Digital & Agentic Risk Innovation
• AI Integration: Partner with Genpact’s AI Gigafactory and technology teams to commercialize digital and Agentic AI solutions for insurance risk monitoring, control testing, and regulatory automation.
• Modernization: Assist insurance clients in modernizing legacy risk infrastructure through data intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics.
Qualifications

• Senior Manager, Director, or Principal-level experience within a Big 4 firm, tier-1 management consultancy, or top-tier specialized risk advisory firm.
• Proven track record combining Risk Management + Insurance Sector Expertise + Top-Tier Consulting.
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise risk or regulatory programs specifically for Property & Casualty (P&C) or Life & Annuities (L&A) carriers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or Data Analytics; MBA, CFA, FRM, or CPCU preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong network of relationships among Chief Risk Officers and risk executives across US insurance carriers.
• Consultative selling orientation with a track record of supporting RFP wins and expanding consulting engagements.
• Familiarity with data governance architectures and AI applications in risk management.
