Visual Annotation Expert Job

Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab to advance cutting-edge AI models. Experts will analyze short video clips and/or images, creating structured annotations that capture subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements. This work helps AI systems better interpret complex visual and narrative information. The role is remote, asynchronous, up to 40 hours/week, and expected to last 4–5 weeks with possible extension.

Experience in one or more of these archetypes: film editor, producer, screenwriter, archivist, media analyst, or strong generalist.

Ability to apply judgment to identify scene attributes and subtle narrative/emotional cues.

Excellent attention to detail and documentation.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Ability to quickly adopt new requirements and follow precise instructions.
