Duties of the user support technician include: - Communicate with users to identify and record the IT and computer issues they encountered via phone, email, and in person - Provide IT support to users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to operating systems, software, hardware, internet, network, etc. while respecting customer satisfaction and cost control - Advise and train users about the general operations of their devices and maintenance requirements, answer user queries and guide users through step-by-step solutions - Document IT procedures and maintain records of issues and solutions for future reference - Working with the Director and other team members on special projects ranging from software/web development, applications design, and software training - Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and problem-solving Requirements for the role: • Bachelor’s degree is required • At least 2-3 years of experience in an IT industry and similar setting • Work on-site is required • Attention to detail • Accurate • Client focus • Efficient interpersonal skills • Organized • Team player • Honesty
