Experience: HematoLogics, Inc. │ Seattle, WA Senior Cytogenetic Technologist May 2022–Apr 2024 • Conducted cancer fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) testing and CD138+ enrichment on peripheral blood and bone marrow as well as flow-assisted cell sorting (FACS) specimens, and paraffin-imbedded slides. • Applied FISH standards of harvesting, slide making, probe hybridization, and post wash in specimens’ preparation; reported the result of FISH slide analysis to appropriate director. • Carried out other duties such as troubleshooting instruments and/or procedure failures, along with quality control and validation of new tests/methodologies. • Served as part of the company’s safety team and provided support in conducting self-inspection to ensure readiness for the 2025 onsite inspection of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). • Created general CAP SOP for the competency improvement of all company’s divisions.
