Gokudo Shabu Shabu Hotpot (Burnaby) is an Japanses/Chinese hotpot restaurant, located on Kingsway, Burnaby, 5 mins walk away from Crystal Mall. We are well-known in Vancouver area because of our 18+ soup bases for each individual hotpot, various combination of meat, seafoods & vegetables and abundant varieties of side dishes. Due to business growth, we are looking for an Assistant Manager to ensure our restaurant run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities and Duties:  Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant  Implement operational procedures and monitor the restaurant’s sales  Hire and train staff  Create staff work schedules and monitor staff performance  Keep track of inventory and place orders with suppliers accordingly  Manage customer complaints  Make sure all health and safety regulations are followed at all times  Develop and follow a budget to maximize restaurant profits  Develop or contribute to marketing plans to promote the establishment Minimum of two-year experience as food service manager Adapt to fast-paced environment, attention to detail Great customer service attitude, excellent oral communication Reliability & Organized Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is preferred
